The Addicks return from international break, travelling to Westleigh Park on Sunday, December 7th to face Portsmouth for their penultimate fixture of the calendar year.
Charlton Athletic
Karen Hills' side have been flying high in the WSL 2 this season, remaining unbeaten in the league for a full calendar year. The Addicks most recently welcomed Bristol City to The Valley, coming away with a 2-0 victory against the very team that last defeated them in the league in 2024. Charlton will be looking for another three points to extend their lead at the top of the table.
Portsmouth
Portsmouth have had a tough league campaign so far, winning just three of nine WSL 2 fixtures, placing them second to last in the table. However, Pompey will be encouraged by their recent 2-0 shock win against WSL side West Ham United in the Subway League Cup, and two league wins in November against Crystal Palace and Sunderland respectively. A win for Portsmouth could see them make their way out of the relegation spots, potentially climbing to eighth place.
Head-to-Head
Portsmouth and Charlton's last three meetings have seen The Addicks dominate with three wins to none for Pompey. Portsmouth will be looking to bring this record to an end in front of their home crowd at Westleigh Park on Sunday, whilst Charlton look to remain ahead.
Kick off is at 2pm GMT.
This fixture will be streamed on the Barclay's WSL 2 YouTube channel for fans who cannot attend.
Tickets are on sale now to get behind the Addicks when they come home to The Valley on Sunday, December 21st for their last clash of 2025.
Priced at just £7 for adults, £5 for O65s and only £2 for U18s - this is a perfect chance to end the year on a high with Charlton Athletic women!
