Karen Hills named WSL2 Manager of the Year at LMA Awards

Karen WSL2 Manager of the year

Karen Hills was named Barclays WSL2 Manager of the Year at the LMA Awards on Tuesday night.

After navigating Charlton Women to the Barclays WSL, Hills was duly recognised for her incredible achievements with the team this season.

Under five years of Hills' stewardship, Charlton have gone from strength to strength, finally breaking into the top tier of English women's football.

Over the past two seasons, the Addicks put together a 27-game unbeaten league run, which became the backbone of their ascent up the table.

That unbeaten run was achieved with the meanest defence in the division, which saw our No.1, Sophie Whitehouse, win the Golden Glove.

Hills has put together an impressive team, both on and off the pitch, that has clinched promotion and can look forward to life in the Barclays WSL for 2026/27.

Congratulations on your well-deserved award, Karen.
