MATCH PREVIEW | QPR v Charlton

'

The Addicks return to the road this weekend, facing QPR at MATRADE Loftus Road on Saturday (KO 12.30pm BST).

Nathan Jones’ side will look to return to winning ways having faced defeat in their last league outing, a 1-0 loss to Leicester City at The Valley.

TEAM NEWS

Speaking ahead of Saturday’s fixture, Jones confirmed that Reece Burke was sidelined in the midweek due to not being risked, and the defender’s return is imminent.

THE OPPOSITION

Julien Stéphan’s side will be looking to bounce back from defeat last weekend, where Coventry City netted seven against the R's at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

Without a win in their opening three fixtures, QPR sit 22nd in the standings having picked up one draw and two losses so far.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

The two sides have gone toe-to-toe on 71 previous occasions, with the Addicks winning 25, the R's 23 and the remaining 23 encounters resulting in draws.

Our last outing against the R’s saw the Addicks progress in the Carabao Cup in a penalty shootout at The Valley back in August 2022.

MATCH OFFICIALS

Andrew Kitchen is the man in the middle this weekend, with Shaun Hudson and George Byrne operating as the Assistant Referees. While Stephen Parkinson has been appointed as the Fourth Official.

COLOURS

We will be sporting our 2025/26 red home kit this weekend.
