The Addicks are back on the road this weekend, facing Sheffield United in WSL 2 action at Bramall Lane on Sunday, February 1st (KO 1pm GMT).
Charlton Athletic
Charlton's Women remain the only unbeaten team across the top two tiers of English Women's football this season. Their most recent fixture saw them open 2026 with an important 2-1 win at home against Newcastle United, keeping them five points clear at the top of the table with a game in hand. The Addicks will be looking to secure those three points and extend their lead at the top of the WSL 2 this weekend.
Sheffield United
The Blades have had a tougher campaign so far, losing four out of their last five matches. Their first two fixtures of 2026 saw them beaten 1-0 by Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest respectively. Sheffield will be looking for a positive result as they aim to climb up the table and away from the relegation spots.
Head-to-Head
The two sides have met a total of 14 times since 2018, with Charlton winning five ties, losing three and drawing six times against The Blades. This highly contested fixture is set up to be an electric one as both sides battle it out on Sunday afternoon.
Kick-off is at 2pm GMT.
The fixture will be broadcast live on the Barclays WSL 2 YouTube channel.
