TEAM NEWS

The Addicks will be without the suspended Chuks Aneke following an unsuccessful appeal, though Nathan Jones confirmed that Daniel Kanu (ankle) is set to return to the matchday squad.

Asked for the latest on Luke Berry and Lloyd Jones, the gaffer said: "It was a bruising game [against Wycombe] so we’ve had to dust them down this week. Everything’s going to be touch and go before the weekend, so we’ll just see. We’re going up there in good spirits and if anyone doesn’t make it, it’s just another opportunity for someone else."

Wrexham will be without injured trio George Evans (ankle), Andy Cannon (knee) and Mo Faal (thigh).

THE OPPOSITION

Wrexham climbed up to second in the Sky Bet League One standings on Monday following their 2-1 win at Blackpool and the Addicks' victory over Wycombe Wanderers.

Phil Parkinson's side are unbeaten in their last eight outings, winning five of those.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

The two teams have locked horns on 16 previous occasions, with the Addicks winning three, the Red Dragons seven and the remaining six encounters resulting in draws.

The Addicks secured a point in dramatic fashion back at The Valley in October as Matty Godden fired in from the spot to draw the sides level in stoppage time.

MATCH OFFICIALS

Ben Toner will oversee proceedings this weekend

Toner will be assisted by Wayne Grunnill and Jacob Lehane, while Alan Young fills the Fourth Official spot.

COLOURS

The Addicks will be sporting their grey third kit in north Wales.
