Rob Apter and Lucia Lobato visit James Wolfe Primary School

'

Rob Apter and Lucia Lobato attended a school assembly at James Wolfe Primary School earlier this week alongside CharltonTV’s Charlotte Richardson as part of the club's Schools Partnership Scheme.

The pair took part in a Q&A and were on hand to offer some advice to the young pupils.

"It was very interesting as we got to know many things about football. We found out that we need to work hard and be confident!" one pupil said.

Take a look at what they got up to below...

"It was good to answer their questions and show them a bit about what goes on in our lives," Apter said. "I think it's just an insight into what a professional footballer does. A lot of them want to play football when they are older, so for us to come in and give them some insight, I think it's great."

"Hopefully, after today we will get a couple more Charlton Women's fans, even the men as well. But they also saved me today from a little gym session!" Lobato joked. "I'll be on the lookout to see if I can recognise any new faces at The Valley!"

Player visits at Schools Partnership schools will continue throughout the course of the season. To find out how your primary school can get involved, please email schoolspartnership@cafc.co.uk.
