Charlton’s U21s return to action on Monday evening as they take on Ipswich Town’s U21s at Portman Road in the Premier League Cup (KO 7pm GMT).
The young Addicks head into the fixture looking to bounce back after a heavy 5-0 defeat to Leicester City’s U21s last time out in the competition.
Meanwhile, Ipswich Town’s U21s come into the tie off the back of a 1-0 win over Leicester City U21s in the Premier League Cup. Their latest fixture against Preston North End U21s was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch and is set to be replayed in due course.
Charlton still sit top of the Group C standings on a tally of 10 points, and will qualify for the knockout stages of the cup. Ipswich sit behind in second place, on a total of 7 points with a game in hand.
