LOAN WATCH | Mbick stars with a goal and an assist

A number of Addicks were in action for their loan teams across the country over the weekend. 

Academy graduate Micah Mbick was once again influential for Colchester United, scoring and assisting in the U’s 4–1 home win over Newport County in Sky Bet League Two.

Elsewhere in the fourth tier, Daniel Kanu completed 59 minutes for Walsall, as they drew 0-0 with Notts County at Meadow Lane.

Zach Mitchell marked his debut for Hibernian with a standout performance, registering an assist in their Scottish Premiership away match at Dundee United. Mitchell completed 90 minutes for Hibs’ in their 1-1 draw.

In Sky Bet League One, Nathan Asiimwe and Terry Taylor went head-to-head as AFC Wimbledon visited Northampton Town. The Cobblers ran out 3-1 victors over the Dons, and Taylor completed 90 minutes for the home side. Asiimwe played 72 minutes for AFC Wimbledon before being substituted.

Alex Mitchell saw out all 90 minutes for Plymouth Argyle in their emphatic 5–1 away win over Rotherham United at the AESSEAL New York Stadium.

Patrick Casey’s had a bright game for Dorking Wanderers, as he got an assist coming off the bench. The forward's contribution helped them to 2-1 win over Slough Town.

Toby Bower and Ollie Hobden both started for Farnborough, as they suffered a 5-0 defeat away to Worthing. Bower played 55 minutes after being introduced late into the first half, and Hobden played 90 minutes.

Kaheim Dixon featured on the bench for Crawley Town but was an unused substitute. Gassan Ahadme (Stevenage) did not feature in the matchday squad.
