All eyes on Ireland

Club football is slowly beginning to creep back in...

This summer, we’ve had the Confederations Cup to, somewhat, keep our football appetites ticking over but it’s not the same as watching or following your own team.

The early end to last season made this summer’s break feel a bit longer than normal but now we’re at last able to get our teeth stuck back into club football again.

Our department have been working hard over the summer to launch the club’s new website and over the next week and a half we hope to provide lots of content for it and our social media channels.

A big part of the new website is our new premium video subscription service, Valley Pass, which replaces CAFC PlayerHD.

Valley Pass launches with coverage of our Tour of Ireland next week and will be the primary location for supporters to watch Charlton videos. We’ll have regular footage from training in Ireland available throughout the week.

As well as that, we’ll be sitting down some of our new signings, younger players, Karl Robinson and his coaching staff throughout the trip to ask them for their thoughts on the upcoming season and the trip itself.

As well as training hard, so much of the tours are about team bonding. We’ll be capturing some of that on camera and will also be hosting our own games, quizzes and features with the players, all of which will be available to view on Valley Pass.

The lads will have a week of training before temporarily returning home next weekend. On the Monday, they’ll then head back out to Ireland to contest their first three fixtures of pre-season.

We’ll be providing the most in-depth coverage of all ‘overseas’ Charlton friendlies, with the official website, Valley Pass and all of our social media channels being flooded with content.

Our official channels will be the best place to keep up to date with everything going on in Ireland, so make sure that you keep your eyes peeled!
