World Cup predictions continue as Groups A and B draw to a close

Valley Pass commentator Terry Smith has drawn level with Chris Solly at the top of the World Cup prediction league after guessing all three of the outcomes of Sunday's games correctly.

He backed England to beat Panama, as did all of our predictors, Japan to draw with Senegal and Colombia to beat Poland, although no one was able to guess an exact score correctly.

The predictions continue into Monday with both Groups A and B drawing to a close. All five are predicting Portugal and Spain to claim victories, while opinion is divided about how the final set of results will play out in Group A.

Predictions are as follows:

Saudia Arabia v Egypt (3pm); Uruguay v Russia (3pm); Iran v Portugal (7pm) Spain v Morocco (7pm)

Chris Solly (31 points): 0-2; 2-1; 0-2; 3-0

Terry Smith (31 points): 1-2; 2-2; 0-2; 2-0

Keith Peacock (26 points): 0-2; 1-1; 0-2; 3-0

Johnnie Jackson (24 points): 1-2; 1-1; 0-1; 3-0

Kim Dixson (23 points) 1-1; 2-1; 0-1; 2-0
