All of Charlton’s Young Reds are invited to star in a big group photo, as part of Saturday’s ‘Young Reds Day’ at The Valley.
Taking place pitch-side – just outside of SE7’s tunnel – the photo will give members of our official young supporters’ membership scheme the opportunity to get up close to the hallowed turf.
Any Young Reds interested in being in the photo should head to the Family Activity Zone at Valley Central with their parents or guardians for 1.40pm.
Charlton’s Family Activity Zone is open every home matchday. Hosted in Valley Central and in the West Stand Park, the zone is a great way for young supporters to warm-up for games in SE7.
Inside, youngsters can play FIFA, pool and table tennis and outside the FAZ’s football cage will be available to use. The Family Activity Zone will be open 1.15pm-2.30pm on Saturday.
Charlton’s Young Reds can also feature in Saturday’s matchday programme, Valley Review. Using the subject line “Young Reds Photo”, parents and guardians can send in photos of their Young Reds in their Charlton kits or at a match. The photos will feature on a dedicated Young Reds page and should be emailed to young-reds@cafc.co.uk.
What’s more, all Young Reds will be able to collect a start-of-the-season gift from Valley Central between 1.15pm and 2.30pm.
For 2018/19, the Young Reds has been revamped into a three-tier scheme and now caters for youngsters 0-3, 4-12 and 13-17.
All junior season ticket holders are automatically enrolled into the scheme and non-season ticket holders can be signed up by clicking here.
Charlton season tickets remain on sale. Adult tickets begin at just £200 – equating to £8.70 per league match (if purchased before Saturday's first home game) – and U11s are completely free in the Family Stand when bought alongside a full-paying adult, as has been the case for the last two seasons.
