This Monday saw Greenwich All-Stars claim the first ever Valley Cup when they secured a tight 1-0 win over Acoms FC.
The tournament, which ran from 12-5pm, saw 20 teams make their way to the Valley before they were sorted into four groups of five teams with the top two sides progressing through to the knockout stages.
With a high standard of football across all the groups the competition was eventually whittled down to four teams in a semi final which saw Greenwich All-stars pip Westfield FC to the final while Acoms FC had to negotiate their semi final against BZFC.
In what was a very exciting and competitive final, Greenwich managed to nab a crucial goal which saw them be crowned the original winners of the Valley Cup. Along with the honour of lifting the trophy on the pitch, the winners also received a prize sum of £500.
Charlton season tickets are back on sale and for a limited time the club are offering Championship football at League One pricing.
