Charlton get their pre-season campaign under way with a 70-minute friendly game against Romanian Liga 1 side Gaz Metan Mediaș at the Addicks’ pre-season training camp in Malaga on Thursday evening (6pm BST).
The Addicks are expected to line-up in a 3-5-2 formation for Lee Bowyer’s first test of pre-season.
Dillon Phillips will start in goal behind an expected back three of Anfernee Dijksteel, Darren Pratley and Jason Pearce.
Brendan Sarpong is expected to play right wing back with Lewis Page on the other side.
Academy graduates Albie Morgan, George Lapslie and Alfie Doughty will make up a midfield three behind strike duo Lyle Taylor and new boy Chuks Aneke.
Ashley Maynard-Brewer, Tom Lockyer, Naby Sarr, Chris Solly and Ben Purrington make up the bench.
Summer signing Macauley Bonne is unavailable with the striker having travelled back to the UK for 24 hours to attend the funeral of his former Leyton Orient boss, Justin Edinburgh.
Jake Forster-Caskey sits out the game with a minor foot complaint.
