Have you heard what’s happening at Young Greenwich Day?

Taking place at The Valley this Saturday from 1pm, Young Greenwich Day returns with a fantastic selection of activities for young people in the West Stand car park.

In addition to the usual Family Activity Zone activities, there will be an exciting range of games, crafts, performances and music for young people to get stuck in to.

Young Urban Arts Foundation Media Bus

Whether you want to take a spin on the decks or become the master of mixing music, you can do both on media bus. The Young Urban Arts Foundation team will be there to give you an exclusive DJ and Music production workshop before the match.

Sport & Fitness

Partnering with Charlton Athletic, GAME will be giving you the opportunity to play the new FIFA on one of the several new screens in Valley Central Youth Hub. You can also get involved in sporting activities such as Archery, Badminton, Football and test your fitness on the BMX Scalextric bikes for a little competition.

Performances

Taking the centre stage on the day, members of My Tribe Dance Academy and Greenwich Dance will be performing exclusive dance pieces. In addition to this, a Young Greenwich special guest will be taking the mic with a solo performance.

Many activities and performances will be led by participants from Young Greenwich, the youth services delivered by Charlton Athletic Community Trust on behalf of the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

Young Greenwich Day is an opportunity for young people who live or study in the Borough aged 10-19 and up to 25 for people with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities to enjoy a Charlton home game for free and sample the free youth services on offer to them.
