Nathan Jones is looking forward to another Sky Bet Championship clash at The Valley this weekend as his side take on Wrexham (KO 3pm GMT).
"Wrexham have improved since the reverse fixture," Jones said. "We want to make sure that our performance levels are better - it took a big error to break the deadlock, but we didn't impose ourselves on the game.
"We keep saying it, but the fans help us and it's a collaboration between everyone at the club. We know we're fighting for something and we want to make sure next season that we're not as new to the league as we are now. The fans have been wonderful."
The Addicks come into this weekend's contest on the back of consecutive 1-1 draws at Southampton and West Bromwich Albion respectively.
"We would like to have had more points than what we have," the gaffer explained. "We've had some tough games and to go away from home and take away two points away from those games, they are two vitally important points.
"We needed to learn from the Southampton fixture at home which we did, and then you go and see what they did in midweek. Then to go away and not be anywhere near our best and still get a point, we have to be positive with that. We have two home games and we have to capitalise on that.
"The Championship is such a difficult league and such a competitive league that you have to be at it in every game," he added. "I don't want to crawl over the line. We started really well, we had a tough middle period and now I want us to finish strong and see how high we can finish - that's our goal."
Lloyd Jones was forced off with an ankle injury at The Hawthorns on Tuesday night.
"We will have to assess Lloyd tomorrow, but generally the squad is in really good health," Jones said. "Lloyd rolled his ankle and we won't gamble with him. We have a full quota in defence apart from Josh Edwards so we need to utilise that."
Collins Sichenje was brought on in midweek in Jones' places and the gaffer is pleased with what he has seen from the Kenyan international so far.
"When the opportunity came to sign him, we didn't want to turn down the opportunity to have him for another six months with us. There's a lot he can learn and he still needs to get better, but you can see the attributes of why we bought him and he'll only get better."
