Charlton's U18s fell to a 3-1 defeat away to Swansea City's U18s on Saturday at the Joma High Performance Centre.
The game started brightly for the young Addicks, as Shia-Lee Burnham opened the scoring on 21 minutes. Bradley Tagoe fed the ball into the box from out wide and Burnham tucked it home to make it 0-1 to Charlton.
Jason Pearce's side were a goal up at the break. Charlton created a flurry of chances early on in the second half but couldn't make their opportunities count.
Harvey Gray struck a quick brace for Swansea later on in the second half. The striker scored twice in five minutes, to give home side the lead.
Alex Godfrey sealed the win and secured all three points for the home side, as they added a third goal in stoppage time.
