Women's International Round-up

Ellie Mason celebrates with Northern Ireland team

During the most recent women's international break, four Addicks were in action with their countries for the double headers in the FIFA Women's World Cup UEFA qualifiers.

Ellie Mason had a fantastic time away with Northern Ireland in their double header against Malta. She played the full 90 in both games, as they came away with 4-0 and 4-2 wins against Malta, with Ellie bagging a brace in the second game and picking up a Player of the Match award as well.

Charlotte Newsham came on as a late second-half substitute for Scotland in their second match against Belgium in the qualifiers. She did not play in the 1-1 draw in Edinburgh, but came on for the last five minutes in the 0-0 return fixture in Leuven.

Sophie Whitehouse did not feature for the Republic of Ireland in their two wins against Poland, 3-2 and 1-0, whilst Mia Ross was also an unused substitute for Wales in their two wins against Albania, 4-0 and 1-0.

All our internationals will be back at The Valley for the season finale against Birmingham City in a huge clash on Saturday, May 2nd (3pm KO).
