Media

All media enquiries should be submitted to louise.mcging@cafc.co.uk.

Matchday Media

All media enquiries must be submitted to the club by noon Thursday before a Sunday match, or noon Monday before a Wednesday match. Enquiries submitted after these times cannot be guaranteed entry to the game.

Due to the number of requests received the club will only accept media requests from validated media organisations.

On the day of the match your name will be on a free entry list on the turnstiles. Charlton Athletic Women do not give any programmes, food or drink for free to media.

Prior to the match you must introduce yourself and submit any requests to the Charlton Athletic Women media officer on duty at the match. All requests and interviews must go through the media officer.

After the match all media interviews will take place at the dedicated media spot next to the media backdrop. Interviews will take place once staff return from the dressing rooms which may take up to an hour.

The manager will be available for interviews after the game. A player may be available but could be withdrawn without notice.  No interviews will take place ahead of kick-off on the day of the game.

Non-Matchday Media

Charlton Athletic Women will always assist with media requests for interviews and features throughout the week wherever possible.

Please note a lot of players and staff work in full-time jobs throughout the week so we may not be able to guarantee availability during certain periods which is outside of Charlton Athletic Women’s control.

Work Experience

Due to the huge amount of requests we receive, we cannot guarantee all work experience placements. Charlton Athletic Women operates from a number of bases meaning we cannot invite people into the office throughout the week, but may be able to offer remote work experience within media and communications.

All placements must be 18 or over at the time of the placement. You may be invited to attend games at The Oakwood.

To apply please email louise.mcging@cafc.co.uk with details of experience and what work you would be interested in conducting. All placements are voluntary and there’s no payment available.

All placements are subject to the relevant health and safety regulations and we can’t guarantee all applicants will receive placements.
