After completing his loan switch, Coady said: "I'm absolutely over the moon and I'm super excited to play in front of the supporters and get going.
"Speaking to the manager was really good - his ambitions for the club and what he wants to do before the end of the season and how he wants me to help."
"I'm someone who wants to help, who wants to be relied upon. I want to show support and be there for everyone in the dressing room, and help everyone - that's someone I have always been," he said.
"I've played in this division plenty of times before - you know what can happen if you gather momentum and if you build momentum and you start winning games. We know what The Valley will bring us as well. It's a real important time, and something I can’t wait for."
