15-year-old Robbie attends CACT’s Short Breaks programme.
Short Breaks is a programme delivered by CACT in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and London Borough of Bexley for young people with disabilities.
Robbie (Pictured above with Royal Borough of Greenwich Leader Cllr Danny Thorpe) enjoys attending the various activities with the Short Breaks group, and in particular loves to play pool at the youth hub.
Since attending Short Breaks, CACT staff have noticed Robbie’s increased confidence when out and about in the community.
As well as CACT staff, Robbie’s mother is also pleased with Robbie’s progression with CACT, saying:
“Robbie has grown in confidence, he looks forward to going on Saturdays and really enjoys it. It’s also a chance for him to make friends which he wouldn’t otherwise be able to do. The staff are all helpful and friendly and I would recommend to other parents.”
